This week away at the beach has gone by far too quickly, but you know what they say about having fun - time flies. I'm spending my last day away layered up and enjoying the Santa Cruz sunshine. I hope your holiday has treated you well. xo

Falling for Fall.

While I'm particularly fond of Summer heat, my feelings towards Fall are slowly changing. Rather than resist the inevitable change in weather, this year I'm embracing the season by layering up and continue to wear the best accessory everyone has - a smile. Stay warm and enjoy the weekend!

What makes shoe shopping all that much more fun? Add an ice cream trunk to the mix, which is exactly what Eileen Fisher did one hot Saturday while I was in New York City. As you can see, I left one happy girl.

A Walk In The Park.

I cannot think of a better way to spend a sunny day than walking around Central Park. It's so peaceful and the daily walks through the park with my mom is one of the best memories from our recent trip to New York. So simple and calming - there was truly no better way to start off each day.

Ever come across a dress that just makes you feel fabulous? That's exactly how I felt when I found this dress at Zara. Really, there's not much to it but a simple silhouette with a little surprise cut out in the back - perfect for an outdoor summer concert or a day of wine tasting with friends.

What a week. Although nothing that a mani, a little volunteer work and a long walk with Ziggy can't take care of to cleanse this little jaded soul. Much. Needed.

As a child I always loved playing in my mom's closet. I would spend hours pouring over luxe fabrics, intricate detailing, cool accessories and designer shoes & handbags - she has a look for everything in her perfectly curated collection. And to be honest, not much has changed since. Every time I visit home I find myself exactly back where I started, cruising through my mom's closet.

This dress was one of my favorites she wore when I was little. So different from other items in her closet, I remember asking why she chose that dress and her reply was simply "You can't help but feel happy in this dress". Of course, who wouldn't want a happy dress? So you can imagine how elated I was a few years ago when my mom handed it down to me. Beyond thrilled.

Happy Mother's Day to all those wonderful woman out there who make the world a better place. And a special happy day to my fabulous, fashionable mom. Can't wait to spend the weekend with you! xo
