California weather this past weekend was up and down and then up again. We spent the rainy Saturday indoors only to venture out for a movie. Once the weather cleared and the sun came out again, I headed back to where I love to be, at the beach with my feet in the sand.

1. I just love a good rainy day indoors.

2. Stopping by an old college favorite, 99 Bottles.

3. There's nothing better than life with your feet in the sand

After a long couple of weeks, a relaxing weekend is exactly what was needed. I forget sometimes just how important it is to unplug* and simply enjoy the ones you are with. Here are a few things that made my weekend that much sweeter.

*I have a new iPhone and have no clue how to use it.

1. Attending a concert on Friday night only to end up enjoying local opening band, Forrest Day, even more.

2. Ziggy eagerly awaiting my mom's arrival to the beach house

3. A lovely little walk down by the Yacht Harbor.

The weekend in San Francisco was nothing short of beautiful and relaxing - always a winning combination in my book . From a delicious "family" dinner with my guy's brother and his hubby at Lolo to an impromptu drive down the coast to preparing Sunday dinner with my favorite, I couldn't ask for more. Here's to a smooth and productive week. Happy Monday!
