Trina Turk Spring 2013.

Attending the Trina Turk presentation and meeting Trina herself was simply amazing. An added bonus, the Spring 2013 Collection was intermixed with the latest from Mr. Turk. Viewing both collections together, truly cemented the fact that Trina Turk is more than just apparel, it is a lifestyle. And quite a cool one at that.

What doesn't Tom Binns do right? I'm tempted to buy 5 in attempt to recreate Balenciaga's futuristic gold rings from the S/S 13 runway. Typically the rule of thumb is a little goes a long way, but in this case a lot takes things to the next level.

I noticed minimal accessories on the runway at fashion week compared to seasons past, but one item seen over and over again was long pendants - they were everywhere. I've been pulling out some of my oldies, but can't wait to purchase a few new goodies too..

I have such a soft spot in my heart for Carlos. Each time I see one of his collections I fall just a little bit harder; he truly knows how to dress a woman.

I'm With Her.

From sweetly structured silhouettes to the funky 'Powers of 10' inspired prints, I crave each darling piece of Rachel Antonoff's S/S 2013 presentation. Really, each one should be in my closet immediately. A brilliant collection of red, white, and blue striped pieces are dream wardrobe for a day at the country club or running through the hedge mazes in Alice in Wonderland. The collection has a fanciful touch of a girl who doesn't take herself too seriously. Playful, quirky and for the girl of the moment who is not opposed to getting into a bit of slightly inappropriate fun is apparent in each piece.

Timeless Beauty.

I could only hope to carry myself a fraction the amount of elegance as Carmen Dell'Orefice does. In 1947 at just 15 years old, Dell'Orefice graced the cover of Vogue magazine. Now at 81, the still working model caught the eyes and hearts of many as she strutted down the runway at the Norisol Ferrari's Spring/Summer 2013 show. Dell'Orefice looks as though she's having the time of her life, which is why her walk is one of my favorite fashion week moments.
