Just last week I posted here about my search for the perfect little brown boots.  Last Thursday I found the booties of my dreams at a J Crew x Vogue cocktail party celebrating the Holiday Collection. With each collection, I fall more in love with JCrew more and more. How is that even possible?!

Timeless Beauty.

I could only hope to carry myself a fraction the amount of elegance as Carmen Dell'Orefice does. In 1947 at just 15 years old, Dell'Orefice graced the cover of Vogue magazine. Now at 81, the still working model caught the eyes and hearts of many as she strutted down the runway at the Norisol Ferrari's Spring/Summer 2013 show. Dell'Orefice looks as though she's having the time of her life, which is why her walk is one of my favorite fashion week moments.

Super fancy British bag-maker, Mulberry, opened its first West Coast doors this week in San Francisco on Grant Avenue. On Wednesday evening, Mulberry and Vogue hosted an opening party celebrate the 3,100 sq. ft, three-story {plus mezzanine} space - there is even gallery space on the second level, which will host pop-up exhibits and artist collaborations; currently showcasing the work of British photographers plucked right from the pages of Vogue. The outpost will sell the labels luxury leather goods, as well as the women's collection and men's accessories. Judging from the tremendous turn out, San Francisco's enthusiasm for Mulberry is high -  Jennifer Siebel Newsom, Connie Nielsen, Sabrina Buell, Rachael Mann and Mackenzie Burdick, and Maggie Rizer are just a few faces to grace the lovely space that night. Let the wild rumpus begin!
