Just in time for the long weekend....
Strawberry Margarita PopsIngredients:
3 cups fresh strawberries, chopped
juice from 1 lime
2 tablespoons tequila
1 tbsp Cointreau
pinch of salt
2/3 cup water
1/2 cup simple syrup
Combine all ingredients into a blender, except for the simple syrup, and puree until smooth. Slowly add simple syrup until desired sweetness is achieved and blend thoroughly. Pour into 3-ounce cup molds and freeze for an hour (or until mixture is slushy) and insert wooden sticks. Freeze until completely firm, about 12 hours. To unmold the ice pops, dip the frozen molds into warm water for a few seconds and gently pull out pops.
Dip popsicles in margarita salt and enjoy!
