Wonderland

Recently, I had the pleasure of house sitting in The Mission District. Ziggy and I left our studio apartment behind and moved to a spacious 2 bedroom flat - fully adorned with wildly eclectic furnishings and rich colors. Not only is this an easy and convenient way to explore new neighborhoods, but a nice change in routine. I tried new restaurants--Luna Park and Foreign Cinema (highly recommend) and sampled indulgent treats at Tartine. Ziggy and I explored uncharted territory (for us) in the city; especially nice days walking to Dolores Park just minutes away. I even became a commuter on BART - one of San Francisco's mass transit systems. Sometimes a quick escape is all the break needed from the monotonous day-to-day to gain new perspective.

I heart The Mission.

{Vintage chairs and oversized lamp for the perfect retro touch}

{Open shelving + teal colored walls = organized chaos: all you need within hand's reach}

{European cafe style kitchen table with simple bowl of lemons}

{Classic San Francisco bay window framed with luxurious coral colored drapes}

{One of a kind drawing, entitle "Women" by famous drag queen, Hedda Lettuce hangs in the hallway}

{A relaxing roof deck for the perfect city escape}
